These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of adityanarayanshukla.in (the “Website”), operated by Aditya Narayan Shukla, Advocate (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Website you agree to these Terms, our Disclaimer and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. Informational purpose, no legal advice
The Website is intended only to provide general information about the advocate and his areas of practice. Nothing on the Website constitutes legal advice, a legal opinion, an invitation or solicitation, or a substitute for professional advice on your specific matter. You should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of any content on the Website without obtaining independent legal advice.
2. No advocate–client relationship
Accessing the Website, reading its content, submitting an enquiry through a form, sending a WhatsApp message or e-mail, or requesting a consultation does not create an advocate–client relationship. Such a relationship arises only upon our express written acceptance of your engagement after a conflict check and agreement of terms. Please do not send confidential or privileged information until such engagement is confirmed; any information sent before then is not subject to professional privilege and is submitted at your own risk.
3. Compliance with the Bar Council of India Rules
The Website is published in conformity with the Advocates Act, 1961 and the Bar Council of India Rules. It is not an advertisement, solicitation, inducement or personal communication to solicit work, and it does not seek to advertise or promote the advocate in violation of Rule 36 of the Bar Council of India Rules. The information provided is limited to that permitted for an advocate’s website and is intended solely to enable users who seek information of their own accord to reach the Chamber.

Third-party names, marks and materials referenced on the Website remain the property of their respective owners.
6. Consultations and enquiries
Any facility to request a consultation or submit an enquiry is provided for convenience only. Submission of a request does not oblige us to accept your matter, and we may decline any engagement at our discretion, including where a conflict of interest exists or the matter falls outside our areas of practice. Consultations, once accepted, are governed by separately agreed engagement terms.
7. Accuracy and no warranties
While we take reasonable care, the Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, currency, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or loss of profit, data or goodwill) arising out of or in connection with your access to, use of, or inability to use the Website, or reliance on any content on it, or arising from any error, interruption, or security incident affecting the Website. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Indian law, including liability for fraud or for our statutory obligations relating to the protection of personal data.
